Titan's north polar hood and adjacent detached haze layer were imaged by Voyager in 1981 (inset). At that time the altitude of the detached haze layer was roughly 350 km above the surface. Using PIXON reconstruction techniques on recent HST images, we resolve Titan's detached haze layer for the first time since the Voyager encounters. As this figure shows, Titan's detached haze layer is now predominantly over the southern hemisphere. We will present estimates of the haze layer's optical depth in several wavelengths.
