We observed the X-ray binary Hercules X-1 at far ultraviolet wavelengths using FUSE. We apply Doppler tomography and eclipse mapping to the emission lines to infer the structure of the accretion disk and the surface of the normal star. Line and doublet ratios provide a diagnostic of the conditions in the emitting gas. The far UV continuum variability also tests models of the X-ray heating of the disk and star. X-ray flux from Her X-1 was observed simultaneously with RXTE.
