The present study investigates the quantum effects of scalar and vector
particles with a time-dependent mass in the Friedmann cosmological model
with the metric ds-squared = a-squared(eta) (deta-squared - dx-squared).
It is shown that neither particle production nor vacuum polarization
occurs in this model.
