Multiperiodic light and colour variations are reported for the F2 giant HR 6522. Since this star belongs to the instability strip, it can be classified as a δ Scuti star. The pulsation periods are 0.21712 days, 0.13885 days and 0.11160 days. From various considerations it appears that these three pulsation components can be identified with the fundamental radial mode and the second and third radial overtones, respectively.
