Progress in the design and construction of a light meson spectroscopy experiment is reported. The experiment will run in 1993. Some non-accelerator activities and plans for the future are also discussed. Results of a Brookhaven beam test with a subset of the final detector are described. The test was quite promising both in the speed with which results were obtained and in the quality of the data itself. The status of the CsI veto is reported. The target region, in particular the CsI veto experiment is Notre Dame's primary hardware responsibility on this experiment.
