Preliminary results are presented on the multiple production of particles at superhigh energies (10 to the 15th to 10 to the 16th eV) which were studied with large-area carbon X-ray emulsion chambers. Particular consideration is given to the energy spectra and spatial distributions of hadrons in families with integrated energies exceeding 50 TeV, the fraction of energy carried by the gamma component of nuclear-electron cascades, and relative fluxes of hadrons and gamma families.
