While the ROTSE-I telescope array was designed to respond to gamma-ray burst triggers, nightly automatic sky surveys were performed to ensure system readiness and monitor data quality. During its 4 years of operation ROTSE-I has collected more than 3 terabytes of monitoring data for the northern sky. This database provides a valuable opportunity to study the long-term behaviour of cataclysmic variables. We present light curves of several sources, in particular the remarkable recurrent outbursts of the dwarf nova SY Cancri.
