Four independent sources of information on the classification of fireballs are compared. The relations connecting meteoroids with meteoroites are discussed. Four groups of fireballs according to the ablation ability of their bodies are confirmed. Differences of meteoritic (ordinary chondrites) and cometary material are visualized. The importance of future work in fireball studies for recognizing relations of meteoroids to meteorites and to bodies of our solar system is clearly evident.
