Using the diffusive-convective description of galactic cosmic rays, the author considers their influence on the stability and dynamics of the interstellar medium maintained in equilibrium by the gravitational fields of stars. The dependence of the stability boundary and the rate of MHD increase on the energy density of cosmic rays and their diffusion coefficient is investigated.
