The prototype ROTSE-III telescope was installed at Los Alamos National Laboratory in August 2001 where it is now undergoing extensive tests prior to shipment to Siding Springs Observatory in Australia. Observations with and without HETE-2 triggers will be reported. The schedule for providing near-complete coverage of the HETE-2 field-of-view will also be discussed. Funding for this project has been provided by NASA, NSF and the Australian Research Council.
