Imagine melding together the best ingredients available to inspire and excite children about astronomy. Project ASTRO-Tucson has succeeded in perfecting one such recipe: equal parts of art, writing, inquiry, and astronomy blended with inspiring speakers and set against the magnificent backdrop of Kitt Peak National Observatory. Led by the National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO) Educational Outreach Department and funded by NSF, Project ASTRO-Tucson has presented six annual workshops and reached over 13,000 students by forming ongoing partnerships between astronomers and educators. We present results from the 2001 workshop, including efforts to make the integrated workshop palatable to astronomers and teachers, and describe plans to make some components of the successful face to face workshop web-accessible, and therefore available to a larger audience.
