A model of a nonkeplerian accretion disk in which the stress tensor is expressed in terms of the large scale components of a dynamo magnetic field and in which X-ray emission is due to magnetic energy dissipation through a coronal mechanism is presented. It is shown that the Maxwell stress in the equation of state is relevant in comparison to radiation and gas pressures, suggesting a basic role of the magnetic field in determining structure, dynamics, and energetics of accretion disks. The analytical solutions depend on the mass of the compact object, the accretion rate, the geometric dimensions, and the angular momentum per unit mass at the outer disk boundary.
