Time-dependent models of interstellar chemistry are summarized and difficulties in reaching theoretical quantities of fractional abundance from observations of antenna temperature of a spectral line versus line of sight radial velocity are emphasized. A time-dependent chemistry computer program is described. Modeling of the hot, cooling, post-shocked gas is outlined. The program was run on a Cray-1 computer.
