The observations of rapid flickering activity of CH Cygni made quasi-simultaneously in the U, B, V, R, I, H, K spectral bands during the active phase in 1983 are discussed. The conclusion is made that this variability of the star is irregular and similar to flickering of cataclysmic variables. However, the mechanism of flickering in its present form is not suitable to explain the rapid variability of CH Cygni.
