A list of Canadian meteorites is presented and the history of the acquisition of specimens by the National Meteorite Collection of Canada is discussed. Thirty-eight of the 46 recognized Canadian meteorites are in the National Meteorite Collection. More than half have been recovered in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and all six of the pre-1905 discoveries are of the more recognizable nickel-iron type.
