For a particle entering the solar system from the interstellar space and encountering the Earth, the authors have derived relations between heliocentric ecliptic coordinates of the entrance asymptote of the hyperbolic orbit (λ,β), the impact parameter (l), the entrance heliocentric velocity (V∞), the Earth' longitude (λE). The author has calculated expected distributions of the number of interstellar meteoroids entering the solar system from the solar apex direction upon the orbital eccentricity and the perihelion distance of different Earth longitudes (observation dates). It is assumed that the probability density of the space distribution of particles which may give rise to the meteor phenomenon in the Earth atmosphere does not depend on the impact parameter. The most convenient observational period for detection of interstellar meteoroids are proposed.
