The results of the study of short-timescale optical light variability of V471 Tau in ultraviolet filters are given. The timescales of the short-period variations are close to the period of X-ray pulses and are P ≡ 13 min near the white dwarf's eclipse and ≡9.2 min in other parts of the orbital light curve. The variations' amplitude attains ≡4 - 5%. There is no regular variability in the moment of the white dwarf's eclipse.
