In this paper, the photometric characteristics of the CCD system on the BAO 60 cm reflector are studied. The CCD's shutter-time-function is determined and the possible influence of the shutter delay-action effect on short exposure is discussed. A set of Landolt's standard stars are observed. Based on these observations, the BVRI magnitude transformation equation is established. It shows that the CCD photometric system is very close to the standard BVRI system. The photometric precision is analysed and two photometric methods, i.e. PSF fitting and aperture photometry are compared.
