We calculated the evolution of surface heavy elements and CO ratio for a 3 Msolar thermal-pulse, AGB star with initial metallicity 0.015, based on the theories of the s-process and star evolution. For reasonable parameter values, our calculated curve falls within the observed regions of the MS, S and C stars in the abundance and C/O diagrams. The range of the neutron irradiance is τ0 = 0.2-0.6 mb-1. Under the reasonable assumption that dredge-up occurs after the asymptotic distribution is established, factors such as whether or not the core mass or the mass dredged-up varies with the pulse number have little effect on the surface abundance of intrinsic AGB stars. The dredge-up-starting pulse number affects the abundance of MS and S stars more than that of the C stars.
