Scientific paper

The paper studies the short-period fluctuations of cosmic rays which result from the scattering of charged particles on inhomogeneities of the interplanetary magnetic field. An equation is obtained for the correlation function of cosmic ray intensity fluctuations and magnetic field variations and the relation between the power spectrum of the fluctuations of the distribution function of cosmic rays and the spectral function of the random component of the interplanetary magnetic field is investigated.
