The magnetic Reynolds number is much smaller than unity in most of astrophysics and in the solar wind. In this case, the left hand side of Ohm's law may be neglected. This perfect conductivity approximation can be used to show that fluid particles which initially lie on a magnetic field line move in such a way that they continue to do so. In a sense, the magnetic field is 'frozen' into the fluid and they move together. In the present paper, the 'frozen in field' concept is applied to the solar wind.
