Rotational Velocities
Scientific paper
The catalog is an up-to-date compilation of the observed projected rotational velocities, Vrot*sin(i), for about 12000 stars of all spectral types and luminosity classes; the bibliographical survey is complete up to November 2000. The catalog.dat file contains 17490 individual Vrot*sin(i) data, together with the errors and the methods of determinations. For users convenience Uesugi and Fukuda (CDS Cat/III/63) data are included in the main catalogue. Detailed description of error evaluation and categorisation of method of determination of Vrot*sin(i) values are given in Glebocki and Stawikowski (2000AcA....50..509G). The bibliographical references are provided in refs.dat file. (2 data files).
