The single-station goniometer technique of Bullough and Sagredo (1973) was used to investigate the evolution of whistler duct structure near Halley, Antarctica over a four-hour period in June 1975. Whistler components were scaled for nose frequency and direction of arrival. The obtained large number (1850) of whistler components allowed high-resolution mapping of the duct structure. The results are compared with previously proposed duct generation mechanisms.
