Due to insufficient information on the planets of the solar system, no definite conclusions can be currently made on the importance of the MHD-dynamo and the specific thermoelectromotive force in the problem of planetary magnetism. From the present analysis, however, it becomes apparent that the magnetic field of the earth and other planets can be explained by taking into consideration and spatially nonuniform distribution of the temperature and thermoelectromotive force coefficient, resulting from the spatially nonuniform distribution of the chemical composition of the planets.
