The radio emission of quiet regions has been investigated with high angular resolution at 35.1 GHz. The observations have shown the existence of bright and evolving sources all over the solar disk. By comparing the observations with a simple model, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) these sources can be described as circular structures, the radius of which increases or decreases with a maximum diameter of 3 min; (2) the expansion, or regression, velocities are in the same range, 10-20 km/s, indicating a mean brightness temperature of about 30,000 K.
