In this paper, using the observational data of hard X-ray emission lines of Her X-1, the physical situation of the emission region is studied. It is found that the emission region is opaque to X-ray line radiation, its excitation temperature is about 2.4 x 10 to the 8th K, and its area perpendicular to the line of sight is about 2 x 10 to the 7th sq cm. In addition, the expectant intensity and width of the third line are given, which are 1/13 and 3 times that of the first line respectively.
