GRO J1655-40 has been observed with the RXTE pointed instruments each day during Feb 21-Mar 1. The flux has risen only slowly during this period: The 2-10 keV and 10-60 keV flux fluxes on Feb 21.9 were 8.4 and 16.7 mCrab, respectively, and on Feb 27.9 were 17.1 and 36.1 mCrab. During a period of 3 hr Feb 27.96-28.10 there was a sequence of dips by as much as 50%, a phenomenon discovered during 1997 observations.
