We report on 10.55 GHz observations of the area in the Galactic center where the EINSTEIN and hard X-ray source 1E1740.7-2942 is located, which has been recently identified by the SIGMA/GRANAT team as the electron/positron annihilation source. The most remarkable feature is a highly polarized 50 pc long radio filament with a flat spectrum running almost perpendicular to the Galactic plane terminating within 2 arcmin distance from the region of annihilation. We discuss the possibility of a common origin of both phenomena.
