Terrestrial planets in close orbits around magnetic white dwarf stars
are potential electron-cyclotron maser sources,
by analogy to planetary radio emissions generated
from the electrodynamic interaction between Jupiter and the Galilean moons. We present predictions of radio flux densities and the number of detectable
white-dwarf/terrestrial-planet systems, and
discuss a scenario for their formation.
