Scientific paper

The authors of the paper "Star-Disk Collisions and the Origin of the Broad Lines in Quasars" by Wojciech H. Zurek, Aneta Siemiginowska, and Stirling A. Colgate (ApJ, 434,46 [1994]) have discovered (in part thanks to the numerical simulations of Jose Antonio Font-Roda) that their estimate of the amount of material pulled above the disk by a star which has just passed through it (eq. [19]) was far too conservative. See Journal.
