New 8-13-micron speckle interferometry of seven oxygen-rich stars with circumstellar dust shells is presented. Six of the shells are partially resolved with only the shell around Alpha Ori being fully resolved. A simple shell model is developed and the wavelength dependence of the optical depth for the dust around Alpha Ori is derived. The similarity of this dependence to other determinations is discussed.
