Pulsational characteristics were obtained for 52 newly discovered RR Lyrae stars in and around the LMC globular cluster NGC 2210, on the basis of a photometric analysis of 63 photographic plates taken between 1975 and 1985 with the CTIO 1.5-m and 4-m telescopes and new photoelectric and CCD photometry. The emphasis is on the noncluster variable stars (i.e., those variables that are outside the cluster tidal radius. The characteristics of the field's variable star population are compared with those in the NGC 1783 (Graham, 1977) and NGC 2257 (Nemec et al., 1985; Walker, 1989).
