It has long been clear that one of the most important aspects towards an understanding of the violent activities in the AGN is to carefully monitor and characterize their variability over the whole spectrum. Radio variability of the AGN is, of source, very essential in investigating extragalactic radio sources. Recent results of both observations and statistical researches are briefly reviewed.
