The formulas for the masses of binary system Theta exp 2 Tau, its distance modulus and age as a function of chemical composition, magnitude difference between components, and effective temperature of Theta exp 2 Tau are derived from numerical evolutionary calculations. The method of determination of Hyades hydrogen and heavy-element content through the analysis of the Theta exp 2 Tau binary system is proposed. Observational restrictions on the chemical composition of Hyades with the present calculations allow us to conclude that Hyades hydrogen content is 0.70 and helium content is 0.27.
