Analysis of ROTSE-III sky patrol fields reveals a probable new CV which we designate ROTSE3 J154041.5-002703.2. The object was first detected in unfiltered CCD images taken on January 9.13 UT using the 0.45m ROTSE- IIId telescope at the Turkish National Observatory at Bakirlitepe, Turkey. The position of the object is (J2000) RA: 235.17297, DEC: -0.45089. Discovery images indicate a brightness of 15.2 magnitudes.
