Spectroscopic observations made at Lick Observatory are presented for
two X-ray-emitting optical objects identified, from ROSAT PSPC data, by
Pietsch et al. (1994). The X-ray data suggested that these objects were
ejected from the nearby galaxy NGC 4258. It is shown that they are both
quasi-stellar objects with redshifts of 0.398 and 0.653 respectively.
