We report on the complete set of RXTE spectral and temporal observations of the microquasar XTE J1550-564 during its 2000 outburst. While the temporal properties are those expected from the Accretion Ejection Instability occuring in the innermost part of the accretion disk, the multiwavelength approach, shows a global behavior compatible with an ADAF. We also point out a possible detection of the jet in the X-rays during the decay.
