The Frequency Agile Solar Radiotelescope is an american project of a spectro-imaging solar radiotelescope (P.I.: D. Gary, NJIT). It will cover a wide frequency range (0.1 - 30 GHz) in order to provide a global view of solar radioemissions during its observing time. Its scientific interest covers most aspects of the solar magnetic activity, with an emphasis on coronal magnetic field measurements. International cooperations are encouraged, and this talk will be an introduction, for PNST, to a discussion of the interest of a french participation to the project.
