A large-scale structure formation model is presented which seems appropriate for some of the purposes of gravitational lensing. It is based on the adhesion approximation, which allows for a fast implementation of the time transfer of initial density perturbations. We apply a simple, but analytically tractable galaxy formation scheme to the model which is shown to yield the correct two-point correlation properties and the observed distance scale between galaxy clusters. Some of the lensing properties of the simulated matter distribution are investigated, and the impact of galaxy-galaxy correlations on lensing is studied using nearest-neighbor distance distributions. The results are obtained for both the HDM and CDM cosmogonies.
