No radio emission has been detected near the position of the untyped supernova 2008bk (CBET 1315) with the Very Large Array (VLA) radio telescope with a three sigma upper-limit of 0.18 mJy at 8.46 GHz (wavelength 3.5 cm) and 0.46 mJy at 22.46 GHz (wavelength 1.3 cm) on 2008 Mar. 29.74 UT. SN 2008bk is unusually close (v = 227 km/s, z = 0.000757 d ~ 3.5 Mpc) and is suspected to be a type II SN (CBET 1319).
