We propose a new and simple implementation to solve the entropy density equation or internal energy equation while achieving an accurate solution for the pressure in hydrodynamics (HD) and magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) simulations. The extra computational cost for the new method is negligible without sacrificing its effectiveness to maintain positive pressure.
