Scientific paper

Using primarily main sequence photometry, this paper provides a compilation of age estimates for 81 star clusters in the Magellanic Clouds. These ages are used to calibrate the photometric age classes of Searle, Wilkinson, and Bagnuolo and of van den Bergh. Previously published calibrations require systematic revisions, especially those based on carbon star membership.
