The visual seeing at Mauna Kea Observatory has been measured as part of an infrared speckle interferometry program. For 23 nights, the mean seeing parameters were found to be equivalent to 10.7 + or - 0.9 cm and 1.2 arcsec + or - 0.1 arcsec at 0.5 micron. Some evidence of observatory-induced seeing was found and is discussed. The intrinsic scatter in r(0) was found to be + or - 18 percent (1 sigma). By combining the data with previously published observations of Dainty and Scaddan (1975), it is found that the visual seeing was better than 1.0 arcsec on 18 out of 33 nights on which it was measured.
