A radio continuum map of the Andromeda Nebula at 4850 MHz is presented covering an area of 2.7 x 1.0 deg aligned with the galaxy. At the angular resolution of 2.6 arcmin (equals 0.5 kpc x 2.5 kpc in the phase of M 31), the emission from the bright arms near the major axis starts breaking up into segments. The flux densities of the point sources in the field are listed in Table 1. Four previously unknown sources have been detected.
