The conference was devoted to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Professor I.S. Astapovich, the founder of Soviet meteor astronomy. It was attended by more than 50 scientists, making 43 presentations. Anoverview of Astapovich's life and scientific activities was presented. Other reports were connected mostly with the problems of physics, the dynamics and cosmogony of meteoroids, and comets and asteroids. The conference summary presents a number of new scientific results and formulates containing problems of the explo- ration of minor bodies in the Solar System.
