Using a database from the published literature, the fraction of CN-enhanced red giants in globular clusters is correlated against a number of cluster physical properties. Newer data verify the earlier result of Norris that the fraction of CN-strong stars correlates with cluster ellipticity, suggesting that the production of CN enhancements among globular cluster stars is somehow influenced by the angular momentum content of the parent cluster. This correlation with ellipticity appears to be more pronounced than any dependence on cluster mass or metallicity.
