The Merged Catalogue of Galaxies in machine-readable form has been
compiled at the Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory (Kogoshvili, 1972,
1975). This catalogue comprises, on the whole, nearly all the galaxies
in the region between +90° and -33° declinations and brighter
than 15m.1 as well as some faint ones.
