The possibility in principle of observing magnetodipole or magnetomultipole radiation from fast-rotating neutron stars is shown. The interstellar medium can propagate an electromagnetic wave with a frequency more than the plasma frequency of 870 Hz; the recently discovered pulsar PSR 1937+21 has a frequency of 642 Hz. The brief analysis takes into account the interstellar absorption due to free-free transitions, the rotation frequency of the star, its moment of inertia, and the energy dissipation time. The expected luminosity of the magnetomultipole radiation and the spectral flux near the earth are determined.
