PreProcess is a software package which relieves the astronomer from the repetitive and error prone tasks typical of prereduction and calibration of raw images. It takes care of sequences of images basic reduction (bias, dark, flat-field, bad pixels removal, etc.) as well as composition (performing sum, average, median, difference, true-color, etc.) and finally first order astrometric and photometric calibration. PreProcess is a command line utility well suited for use within pipelines or directly by end user as it is easily configurable through a single ASCII files. Reliability, speed of execution and easy of use have been tested on many real situations and million images.
