The Far Ultraviolet Space Telescope (FAUST) flew on the Space Shuttle in March 1992 and obtained 22 wide-field images covering about 3% of the sky in the wavelength range 1400 - 1800 Å. The authors discuss the advantages and difficulties they have encountered while doing wide-field imaging in the FUV. They have measured and cataloged approximately 4000 FUV sources.
